New service: MyDigiSafe
A will tells an executor who gets what. MyDigiSafe tells them where to
find it.
Over a lifetime, important paperwork builds up and scatters. Bank
accounts, pensions, policies, ID and passwords end up spread across
drawers, inboxes and "somewhere safe". When someone loses capacity
or dies, their attorney or executor is often left searching with no idea
where to start.
MyDigiSafe, now part of the Will Writer Pro service, gives your clients one
private, secure vault for everything that matters. They can:
Store important documents, photos and videos
Record their final wishes clearly
Store passwords securely
Get reminders for upcoming renewals and deadlines
Share access with their attorney, executor or trusted family
members, and choose whether that access applies now or only on
death
Couples get a free second account, and anyone a client chooses to
share with gets a free account of their own. All plans come with a 30day free trial.
Built on trust
Clients rightly ask what happens to their information in the long term.
Data is held on UK-based servers, encrypted at rest and in transit, and
protected by two-factor authentication. It is never sold or shared with
third parties. Clients can export everything at any time, and every
account is independently backed up, so their information is always
theirs.
Three simple plans
There are three plans: Store It, Share It and Sort It, so clients choose the
level of support that suits them. Sort It goes a step further and links
straight through to the Probate Toolkit. When the time comes, the
information your client has stored flows directly into their executor's
estate file, so the family is not starting from scratch.
Why it matters for your practice
Once the will is signed, the relationship often goes quiet. MyDigiSafe
keeps it going. It fits naturally into conversations you are already having,
at will signing, at a Power of Attorney appointment or at any estate
review. Clients rarely cancel a service like this, so you stay connected
with them and their families for life. And when probate help is needed,
the Toolkit directs them back to you.
