Probate Toolkit comes in two versions. The DIY Probate Toolkit guides
executors through straightforward estates step by step, building the
estate file as they go. No legal background is needed.
Probate Toolkit Pro is for professionals handling estate administration in
England and Wales. Information is entered once and flows through to
IHT forms, letters and estate accounts automatically. There are no
monthly fees, no setup costs and no annual commitment. The fee is
£175 + VAT per case, fully recoverable from the estate as a
disbursement.
Where it all comes together is the referral route. Exizent's research found
that 45% of DIY probate applicants go on to seek professional help.
When a DIY executor reaches that point, panel members are notified
and receive the case with the estate file already built: assets recorded,
letters sent, checklists completed. You pick up where the executor left
off.
